Words have power, and God has given us the authority to change the atmosphere around us with them in Jesus’ name. We can claim victory over darkness and freedom from oppression because Jesus defeated them on the cross; it was impossible for death to hold him down, and it has no claim on Him. Because of this, we now have the same authority as Him, and can trample anything that comes our way by speaking truth and renewing our mind. 

This collection is designed to be spoken. Each prayer is complete by itself, but could also be a starting point for something more. Put it next to your bed so that you can speak (the truth or Truth) first thing in the morning, or last thing at night. Put it in the kitchen so you can speak (the truth or Truth?) while you’re reheating food or waiting for your coffee to finish brewing.  Put it in the bathroom so you can renew your mind as you’re drying off from your shower, or...y’know, the other thing.
